Weekend workshop
Wax working is a great addition to your metal working abilities. Create textures and forms that are too difficult to achieve with sheet metal. Lost wax casting can save time and use your scrap metals. Cast elements can be a fun addition to fabricated jewelry.
Wax carving, spruing, investing, casting and finishing will be covered during this workshop.
Materials
Wax and investment are provided by Alloy and are included in the course fee. You may purchase casting silver during class time at the current market price or you can choose to bring your own silver.
Please bring a bag lunch.
